Adrián joined the IIJ team as a Programme Manager in 2019. He currently manages the IIJ Global Central Authorities Initiative and supports work on the IIJ Juvenile Justice and Prison Management Initiatives. He previously worked with the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), as a Junior Professional Officer with postings in Vienna and Bishkek and then as an Adviser on Passenger Data Exchange, providing support to States on issues related to Advance Passenger Information (API), Passenger Name Record (PNR) and biometric collection systems. He also interned with the UN Department of Political Affairs in New York and with Action Against Hunger in Madrid. He holds degrees in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Carlos III and a Master’s in EU International Relations from the College of Europe.
